I've recently seen some pictures of people in a gorgeous wildflower field near the G'ville area. After finding out the location, I decided I wanted to take some cutsie pictures there. As the rest of you Floridians know, the month of May has been pretty hot and we haven't had much rain, so I wanted to hurry up and get there before the flowers all died. So, when Steve and I had free time, I gathered up my camera, tripod, props, and Steve (who was such a great sport!) and we took a little trip. Of course, on the car ride there it was pouring! But, the sky looked clear in the direction we were heading, so we just kept driving. Luckily, the rain had somehow just skipped over that little field and it was nice and dry for us to play in. As you can see in the pictures, we did wait a little too long in the month to head down there, most of the flowers are all shriveled up and dry...there's always next year! We also had to dodge tons of fire ant mounds (hence, the title.) All in all, I think I got some pretty awesome shots.

Steve's Graduation
Phew! It's been a while since I've posted anything! On Saturday, May 2nd, Steve graduated and was officially deemed Dr. Fernando! =) He was so cute in his cap and gown! His family wasn't able to make it because they had attended his doctoral defense in March. But, I took lots of pictures for them all! Steve posing before graduation
Steve was caught on the camera! Look at that smile! =)
